(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home4/lorron/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6121Are YOU like Calvin and, as far as you’re concerned, think that you’re perfect the way you are?\u00a0 Probably not.\u00a0 In fact, when asked, a majority of us will readily admit that there are things about ourselves that we\u2019d like to, or are planning to, change or improve.\u00a0 One of the things most often revealed as needing change is our physical fitness and health.\u00a0 It seems that, during our busy day-to-day lives, we can find the time for a lot of other \u201cstuff<\/em>\u201d, but ensuring that we\u2019re fit and healthy doesn\u2019t usually make the priority list.<\/p>\n Personally, I think this is really sad and foolish.\u00a0 If you stop and think about it, some of that other “stuff<\/em>” that occupies our time is actually far less important than maintaining your health and well-being. So, I’m pretty sure that almost everyone could (with a little thought and planning) make more than sufficient time in their schedule to fit in some regular exercise.<\/p>\n Our health is a huge determining factor in our approach to many other facets of our life.\u00a0 It affects our moods and, by extension, how we interact with those around us. It determines our ability, or lack thereof, to stave off illness and disease.\u00a0 It\u2019s an extremely important component in determining our potential life span.\u00a0 It IS very much worth taking care of!\u00a0 Unlike cats, we only get one life.\u00a0 And, we only have one body to carry us through that life.\u00a0 Doesn\u2019t it make sense to take really good care of that body?<\/p>\n It\u2019s a new year, and a perennial time when people will make promises to themselves about changing some aspect of their life.\u00a0 Will this be the year that you make the time to make positive changes to your health and fitness? \u00a0If so, Alter Ego Fitness is here to help.\u00a0 It’s what we do, what we’re passionate about.\u00a0 But, please don\u2019t think of it as a \u201cresolution<\/em>\u201d, they\u2019re too often forgotten or neglected after only a few weeks.\u00a0 And, they\u2019re usually presented, and thought of, in a negative or unfavourable tone.\u00a0 So, think of it as a \u201cgoal<\/em>\u201d, something positive to strive for or work towards.\u00a0 You don\u2019t need to commit to a \u201cforever<\/em>\u201d goal now.\u00a0 If necessary, start small and build on your success. When you reach that one, you don’t have to wait for a new year to start, set a new goal.<\/p>\n With that in mind, what fitness goal do you have for the next month? The next 6 months?
